Too Many of Us Confuse Our Purpose

Flynn Bucy’s Mentor Story

To Flynn, the core pursuit in life should focus on who you want to be. What kind of person do you want to be? Watch him explain here:

You can see more of Flynn’s video, and videos of several other Pathways mentors on the Mentor Story Map. To see all 9 of the Resource Maps available on the IPC Pathways website, and instructions for using Trello, click one of the two links below:

Watch a Mentor Story...

Flynn joins many other Immanuel mentors on the Mentor Stories Map (organized by topic), including…

Pastor Katie, Alex AbiNajm, Pastor Aaron, Beth Simms, Susan Graceson, Lee Rainie, Anne Evans, Betsy Thomas, Andy Gregory, Marilyn DiLoreto, Steve Parker, Helen Payne, Lynley Ogilvie, and Bill Wilson

They tell us in short videos and podcasts about inspirations, mistakes, career changes, the influences of volunteering, great mentors, choosing a career, and “day in the life” descriptions of particular careers.

If You’re a Pathways Seeker…

Choose a few Mentor Stories that stand out to you, take 5-10 minutes to watch them and let us know your thoughts!

You can do that by leaving a comment in the “activity” section that appears when you click on the story. This is how you can let this mentor, and other seekers know how it helped you!

We Want YOUR Mentor Story!

We’re looking for LOTS more of these, now and going forward. We want the Mentor Stories Map to be a record of how we grow, with the help of Immanuelites who have unique life experiences to share.

So, if you’re in college or older, you have advice to share in a short video or audio Mentor Story. You pick the topic. Pick one the others have talked about, or something else from your experience and perspective that you think others would appreciate.

We’d love to have a brief Zoom meeting where we can record you! Use the first button below to send us a few times that work for you. Or if you prefer, record a short (or long — we can edit!) video or audio and submit it using the second button below.

Reminder from Signpost #2:

Tell us how you would complete the sentence… “I would consider myself successful if and when…”

We’ve gotten some fabulous responses, which we’ll share in an upcoming issue!
