 How Your Donation Will Help

So far, 16 Immanuel families have supported IPC Pathways by making tax-deductible contributions to Harraseeket. Your donation will support our ongoing investment in Pathways, including these three new initiatives…

The Pathways Internship Fund

The Pathways Fund is making grants to:

  • Support low-income, at-risk students who choose internships

  • Schools, to enhance career guidance resources available to low-income, at-risk students

Better Online Tools to Improve the Seeker and Mentor Experience

The online tools Pathways uses are all free. Some of them have limitations and could be made more user friendly. A modest investment in upgrading the user experience should:

  • Make it more likely that seekers will more regularly search for mentors for one-on-one chats

  • Help seekers and mentors more easily review and enjoy the video and reading resources in the Resource Maps, and submit their own ideas for resources for others to enjoy

  • Allow seekers and mentors to interact more regularly with each other using the IPC Pathways platform

  • Engage everyone involved in IPC Pathways more frequently

Expansion of Pathways to New Communities

The first Pathways program started in late 2017 at Immanuel. As a “pilot” Pathways community, Immanuel and a number of members provided grants to start up this new outreach program. Our first mentors and seekers came from Immanuel.

We have learned a lot as we’ve grown our program and its impact.

We are now working with other local faith and service communities to help launch their own Pathways programs. Our goal is to establish five new Pathways communities over the next three years, impacting hundreds of under-mentored young people -- both inside and outside these communities -- in need of encouragement, support and meaningful conversations. We’re excited about the opportunities that this expansion will allow, not only for seekers, but for their mentors and their communities as well.
