Our Pathways Interns Need Immanuel English and History Tutors!

In Signpost #7 (July 30th, 2021) we shared the news that our first Pathways Internship Fund interns were about to start their internships. These interns are economically disadvantaged students at Wakefield High School who have been selected for internships by our partner, Communities In Schools of Northern Virginia. You can click here to learn more about the Pathways Internship Fund.

The interns have started their internships. Also, thanks to your generous contributions, we just made an additional contribution to Communities In Schools to support more internships!

We continue to need Immanuel mentors, suggestions for more places where the interns can work, ideas for the Fund, and more contributions, all as described in that Signpost.

Now, we have one more ask…

Communities In Schools reports that some of their students would benefit from tutoring (by video), particularly in English and history. Details are still to be worked out, but we’re looking to find out who might be interested.

Thank you for your support! Please keep it up, and pass the word to others connected to Immanuel.
